When a question needs more than a paragraph, it links to the guide that covers it properly. Getting started What file formats can I upload? Fabrication packages can mix PDF drawings, DXF/DWG drawings, KISS cut lists, DSTV/NC1 part files, and IFC models. FabTrk ingests the package and builds the project (parts, documents, and 3D model) from what it finds. Photos attach to tasks from any device with a camera. Do I need to install anything? No. FabTrk runs in the browser: drawings, DXF rendering, and the 3D model included. The mobile app adds a native experience for the floor, but nothing requires a desktop install or a CAD seat. Can I try it before paying? Yes, twice over: the Free plan runs up to 3 active jobs indefinitely, and FabTrk Pro starts with a 14 day trial. See Plans, Seats, and Billing . Data and security Is my data mine? Yes. Blueprints, designs, shop logs, and project data you upload remain your property, as the Terms of Service state plainly. Can other companies see my projects? No. Every project, document, part, and record is scoped to your organization. Cross organization access is not a setting that can be misconfigured; it does not exist in the product. Who on my team can change things? Whatever their role permits, exactly. Permissions are explicit verbs (create/edit/delete per resource), roles bundle them, and sensitive actions (advancing part stages, signing QC, deleting records) are limited to roles you trust with them. See Team Roles and Permissions . Are QC records tamper resistant? Sign offs are recorded under the signing account with a timestamp and cannot be entered as someone else. Floor notes are deletable only by senior roles. Sharing and customers Can a customer see their building without an account? Yes. Publish the project's 3D model as a read only embed on your website or send a revocable share link. You control whether viewers see just geometry or member level detail. See Sharing 3D Models With Customers . Can customers request quotes through my website? Yes. The embeddable configurator lets a visitor shape a building on your site and submit it; the request lands in FabTrk with the spec attached, and your team is notified. Devices What does the crew need on the floor? Any phone or tablet with a browser, or the FabTrk mobile app. One tap stage advance, task notes, and photos are designed for gloved hands and shop lighting. Does the 3D model work on phones? Yes. The model viewer runs natively on mobile, and on supported devices the building can be viewed in augmented reality at full scale. Billing How does billing work? Through Stripe, managed from Settings → Billing on the web dashboard. Card details never touch FabTrk's servers. Cancel any time and keep access through the period you paid for. See Plans, Seats, and Billing . Account How do I delete my account? Email contact@fabtrk.com from the address on your account and we'll remove the account and associated data. How do I get help?
